Five years ago when Joe graduated from Oregon State University as a Veterinarian, he went to work at a mixed animal practice in Roseburg, Oregon. In Fall of 2005, Joe and his wife Lindsay decided to move away from the rain and come to sunny Central Oregon. So they packed up their horse, two dogs, two cats and he came to work at Redmond Veterinary Clinic.
In just the few years that Joe has been a Vet, he has witnessed some medical progress in the field such as advanced imaging and digital radiography. In fact, when he started at RVC, Joe had to learn how to use our new digital radiograph processor.
Even though he had some new things to get used to, Joe says that he enjoys being able to practice more progressive medicine and is much less stressed since working here. He likes that he can take his time with each patient and help educate the clients on thier pet's needs. He admits that the best part of being at RVC is working with a staff who all get along, work well together and have compassion for the animals they care for.
Dr. Joe keeps current memberships in American Veterinary Medical Association, Northwest Equine Practioners Association and Oregon Veterinary Medical Association. When Joe is not busy participating in these organizations, he likes to spend his free time bicycling, upland game hunting, bird watching and dabbling in photography.
