I am excited about joining the staff of the Redmond Veterinary Clinic. I have always been committed to improving the quality of life for animals and RVC’s philosophy fit well with my personal beliefs. I believe that if your family members are well groomed, there is a better likelihood that they will receive the love & affection they so readily deserve.

I was the Salon Manager for JCPenney doing human hair for many years in the San Francisco Bay area. We purchased our first golden retriever show dog 13 years ago and have not rested since.

Every weekend was a dog show. After hiring a professional handler, I found that I couldn’t stay away from the grooming tables. I discovered that grooming was my LOVE! Doing people hair was fun, but this was GREAT.

After competing in the show ring for a few years we had our first litter. Oh my, the next thing we knew our family had grown far too large to live in the city. We relocated to Central Oregon so they could have room to run.

For the last 8 years I have been with Petco. I was the Asst. store manager, but I was always in the grooming salon helping out and giving grooming advice. I finally decided it was time that I followed my passion. 5 years ago I became the Grooming Salon manager, loving every minute of it.

Steve & I have two kids that are grown, a daughter, Shellie who lives locally, and a son Jeff who lives in the Sacramento area. We have a grandson, Tyler who is almost 12. Both the kids have Golden Retrievers.
