As a native Central Oregonian, Christy was raised around many animals. During her school years in Prineville, she participated in 4-H and FFA. Growing up, her favorite pet was a chocolate colored Dutch rabbit named, Charlie.

Before coming to work at Redmond Vet Clinic in April of 2007, Christy owned and operated a wireless internet company called, Wireless Internet of Central Oregon and Quik Internet. However, she has been involved in reception work for several years. So far, her favorite part of working at RVC is meeting and getting to know all the different people and their pets.

In her leisure time, Christy enjoys Scottish country dancing, computers and spending time with her husband and two children.
