Tiffany was raised on a large cattle ranch in Ironside, Oregon. Her childhood was filled with many different animals.  Among her favorite were the piglets she raised for 4-H and her  horse, "Red".  After high school, Tiffany attended the Northwest Nazarene University for two years studying biology. After that she moved to Denver, Colorado to obtain her Veterinary Technicain degree from the Bel Rea Institute of Animal Technology. She did her Vet Tech externship at Littleton Large Animal Clinic in Littleton, Colorado.

Tiffany has been a Veterinary Technician since 1998. In addition to Central Oregon, she also worked as a Vet Tech for three years in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She admits that she is glad to be back in Oregon.

Tiffany enjoys horseback riding, skiing, rafting, camping and going to the movies. When she is not doing one of these things, she has two pets that like to occupy her time. One of these is a very inquisitive cat named Scooter and the other one is a small 107 pound Staffordshire Terrier Cross named Wyatt.  As of April 2007, Tiffany's family expanded to include her husband, Jason Rankin a local contractor and his dog Mac.
