Sarah was born and raised in Tumalo, Oregon.  As a teenager, Sarah's very first job was training horses and giving riding instructions at the Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch in Tumalo.  Sarah knew then that she wanted to pursue a career working with animals.  So she packed up her things and moved to Colorado for two years while attending the Bel Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology in Colorado.

After graduation she decided to come back to Central Oregon where she could enjoy her favorite pastimes such as fly fishing, camping and hiking with her husband, Eli.   Sarah also enjoys riding her  horses whenever time allows. 

Sarah admits that the transition from student to full time Vet Tech has been a challenge.      

As one of RVC's newer members of  the Technician team, Sarah has already experienced the variety of animals that we see at the clinic.  According to Sarah, the best part of working here is the amazing staff members and their helpfulness towards her while learning the "RVC way."
