Prior to and during General Anesthesia we routinely perform the following:

*PRE-OPERATIVE LABORATORY ORGAN SCREEN
This consists of a PCV, which will check for anemia, and an ALT, ALKP, CREA, GLU, TP, and BUN, which will evaluate blood glucose, kidney and liver enzymes.
* Option only on Pediatric and Adult animals. Senior and Geriatric animals are required to have had a blood check within the past 6 months prior to general anesthesia.

While I accept that all procedures will be performed to the best of the abilities of the staff at this facility, I certify that no guarantee or warranty has been made regarding the results that may be achieved. I understand that some risks always exist with anesthesia and/or surgery and that I am encouraged to discuss any concerns I have about those risks with the attending veterinarian before the procedure(s) is/are initiated. I agree to indemnify and hold Redmond Veterinary Clinic harmless from and against any and all liability arising out of the performance of any of the procedures referred to above.
