SMALL ANIMAL TRAVEL

A Health Certificate is required for animals traveling by airline or animals traveling through or to Canada or Mexico.  The animal(s) must be current on a Distemper and Rabies vaccine.  Please see our airline travel link for a list of contact numbers and specific airline regulations.

LARGE ANIMAL TRAVEL

A Health Certificate, current coggins test (for horses), and brand inspection are required for cattle and horses to travel into any state.  The following links are to help you predetermine specific requirements for most species of large animals for import to each state of the USA.  Please contact us to consult with a technician on these requirements or to schedule an appointment for a Health Certificate Exam and possible laboratory testing.

When coming in to have a Health Certificate Exam performed, please have the following information available to expedite to documentation process:

Date of departure

Equine Travel to Canada

Please note that if you are traveling to Canada with your horse, the Health Certificate process is more involved and takes longer to process.  We recommend scheduling an appointment for a Health Certificate Exam and Coggins test 1-2 weeks prior to departure.
