Office Manager
Our Veterinary Office Manager is responsible for providing business management services and overseeing operations at Redmond Veterinary Clinic. They ensure that daily operations run smoothly in the clinic, allowing our veterinarians to focus solely on practicing medicine rather than the many details of running the business. Please contact our Office Manager if you have specific questions or concerns.
Certified Veterinary Technicians
The Certified Veterinary Technicians at Redmond Veterinary Clinic have been educated in the care and handling of animals, the basic principles of normal and abnormal life processes, and in many laboratory and clinical procedures. In general, they have obtained 2-4 years of post-high school education and have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in veterinary technology. They have passed a credentialing examination and keep up-to-date with continuing education to be considered licensed/registered/certified (the term used varies by state) veterinary technicians.
Veterinary Assistants
Our Veterinary assistants support the veterinarians and/or the veterinary technicians in their daily tasks. The assistant may be asked to perform kennel work, assist in the restraint and handling of animals, feed and exercise the animals, or spend time on clerical duties. There are training programs for veterinary assistants, but most are trained on the job.
Receptionists
Our receptionists are skilled in working with both our clients and patients in a caring manner. The receptionist greets patients and their owners, making them feel welcome and safe. They answer phones, schedule appointments, collect payments, and dispense medications. They communicate client and patient information to the veterinarian or veterinary technician to aid in patient care. Our receptionists have great communication and customer service skills, providing each person and patient with love and care.
Pharmacist
Our Veterinary pharmacy technician duties include entering patient information into the computer system, processing transactions, restocking and inventory, communicating with a variety of staff at the clinic and helping ensure that the overall operations of the veterinary pharmacy run smoothly. Our veterinary pharmacy tech will fill the actual prescriptions under the supervision of the veterinarian. Our Pharmacy technician may communicate with pet owners to find out about their concerns and discuss alternatives that work best for their animals in conjunction with the Veterinarian. If you have questions or need to refill a prescription please contact using the button above.
Animal/Facility Care Attendants
The Kennel attendants at Redmond Veterinary Clinic provide daily care for the animals that are boarded in our kennel. They are involved with scheduling boarding appointments, cleaning cages and runs, bathing, grooming, exercising, feeding, administering medication, and monitoring the behavior of boarded animals. They will also interact with clients as they pick up and admit their animals. If you have any questions regarding boarding an animal or a current boarder please feel free to contact us.
