Type of practice
Mixed Animal Practice (Small Animal 90%, Equine 5%, Ruminant 4%, Other 1%)
History
Dr. Buck Lewis established Redmond Veterinary Clinic in 1942. Dr Lewis was the first veterinarian in the Central Oregon region and served many parts of Southern and Eastern Oregon. The practice has flourished since those early days as the established reputation and community grew. The practice is recognized throughout the state in part by the participation of Dr. Robert Huckfeldt in the Oregon Veterinary Medical association where he served as President and on many committees. Due to the absence of referral facilities in Central Oregon the Clinic has offered many services and procedures to accommodate clients who prefer to have treatment performed locally for more advanced procedures including rigid and flexible endoscopy, digital ultrasound and echocardiography.
